This small nerite likes hard substrates, between 0 and 23 feet deep. It is present in all the Indo-Pacific zone. It rarely gets larger than 1.2 in (3cm) large. Its shell is spiral and striped, cream colored, and sometimes spotted with black spots. It is edible, raw or cooked in a variety of ways.
